Swiss Cottage is named after the Tavern in the middle of the busy cross section in the centre of the area. Swiss Cottage stands in the borough of Camden in North London. It is in the Kilburn and Hampstead constituency.

Attractions and amenities- Swiss cottage has a leisure centre which has facilities such as pool with a 25 metre pool, a gym with 170 stations of equipment, a sports hall with four courts suitable for basketball, volleyball, netball and badminton, an indoor climbing wall and squash courts

Tubes and buses- Swiss Cottage has a tube station on the Jubilee Line and is on zone two. Swiss Cottage also happens to be a hub for London Buses and is served by 3 night buses.

Places for worship- There are many different places for worship in Swiss Cottage. They vary from Synagogues, Baptist churches and an All saints Greek orthodox.

The High street- The area around Swiss Cottage has all the high street necessities as you need and is very easy by public transport to get further afield.

Schools- Schools include Swiss Cottage school(a special education needs school), Quintin Kynaston school (a mixed secondary and six form school), Trevor Roberts school (a pre prep school), Hereward House school and Hall school (both Boys prep school).
